Photographer Editor

We are seeking a highly skilled Photographer Editor to join our team at Hearst Television. As a key member of our newsroom, you will be responsible for capturing the essence of our stories and bringing them to life through compelling visual content.

• Shoot and edit high-quality video and still images for broadcast and online platforms
• Work closely with reporters and producers to develop and execute creative visual concepts
• Operate professional camera equipment and edit footage using Adobe Premiere
• Coordinate with the assignment desk to cover daily stories and gather video and still images
• Produce and publish content to our online platforms
• Maintain and organize equipment and ensure it is in good working order

• Training in video photojournalism and experience in a newsroom environment
• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds of equipment and work in various weather conditions
• Experience with ENG trucks and digital editing tools
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Precis, and CNN platforms
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Unwavering journalistic integrity and ethical standards
