Job Summary

ExecuSource is seeking a highly skilled Tax Associate to join our dynamic team in the Atlanta market. As a Tax Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional tax services to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career and work with a reputable company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical tax reviews and governmental tax examinations as directed by Manager and Senior Manager.
  • Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns and information filings with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide tax expertise and guidance to tax associates and Business Assurance team members on specific tax issues.
  • Ensure all federal and state income tax returns are prepared in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the firm's tax philosophy and opinions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and meet critical deadlines.
  • Participate actively in client meetings and tax planning efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Business Assurance (Audit) Department on larger clients as needed.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience preparing corporate, partnership, and individual, and fiduciary income tax returns in a public accounting firm.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supervising and directing the work of tax preparers.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required, with a master's degree in taxation preferred.
  • Current CPA license highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Proficiency in CCH ProSystem fx Tax or other tax automation / workflow software is a plus.
  • Client service oriented and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Team player and independent.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
