Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver insightful feedback to enhance client satisfaction.
- Engage effectively with clients and opposing counsel.
- Work diligently under the guidance of senior legal professionals.
- Interact with representatives from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and state tax authorities.
- Analyze and edit client financial documentation.
- Conduct case evaluations, risk assessments, and provide counsel on complex tax matters.
- Maintain accurate records of time spent on each case, meeting a minimum billable hour requirement.
- Oversee daily workflow, ensuring timely completion of tasks and thorough documentation in the firm’s case management system.
- Supervise paralegals assigned to cases.
- Delegate responsibilities to support staff as needed.
- Draft correspondence and legal documents for submission to tax authorities.
- Utilize legal research platforms for case preparation.
Qualifications:
- Experience in tax controversy is preferred but not mandatory.
- Active Bar license is required.
- Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $120,000.
- Potential for additional earnings through exceeding billable hour targets.
