Job Summary

The Registered Nurse / RN provides high-quality, safe, and cost-effective total nursing care to all patients. The Registered Nurse / RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination of the patient's experience and integration of patient care based on the nursing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct high-quality and patient-focused care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, Infection Control.
  • Discharge patients with an optimum level of care provided.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Qualifications

Education

Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Preferred: BSN

Certifications

Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida

American Heart Association BLS certification

For Telemetry and higher acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and Basic EKG interpretation are also required.
