Job Overview
Role Summary: Responsible for delivering and serving food at scheduled events under the guidance of the catering captain. Ensures the precise execution of all functions during their shift. May operate a catering delivery vehicle. Responsible for setting up and serving at events; maintaining cleanliness during and after functions; dismantling setups and ensuring the area is left tidy; returning leftover food and equipment to the catering facility promptly.
- Prepares and delivers all food and supplies for catered events to their designated locations.
- Records and monitors food temperatures.
- Arranges tables and decorative elements.
- Sets up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to established standards.
- Serves food and drinks to guests.
- Thoroughly cleans the venue after the event concludes.
- Returns food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
- Distributes and collects customer feedback forms for catered events.
- Stocks, cleans, and maintains the catering facility and its equipment.
- Ensures guests receive friendly and courteous service at all times.
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the complete menu and available products.
- Ensures a clean and safe working environment.
- Adheres to safety and sanitation policies and procedures consistently.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications: A valid driver's license may be necessary; must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit as required by state law.
