The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit analysis and underwriting, with a minimum of five years of experience in commercial lending. You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing loan applications, preparing credit memorandums, conducting underwriting calls, and coordinating with third-party reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loan Application Review: Review and analyze loan applications for completeness, creditworthiness, and compliance.
- Credit Memorandum Preparation: Prepare detailed credit memorandums that include financial analysis, repayment ability calculation, industry research, and forecasts.
- Underwriting Calls: Conduct underwriting calls with borrowers to discuss loan applications and creditworthiness.
- Third-Party Report Coordination: Coordinate and incorporate third-party reports into the credit analysis.
- Tax Return Review: Review tax returns and tax transcripts as part of credit due diligence.
- Loan Modification Review: Review and compile loan modifications as required until a loan closes.
- Credit Approval Conditions: Review and address credit approval conditions and covenants.
- Production Goals: Meet production goals while maintaining quality and compliance.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Economics.
- Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in credit analysis and underwriting of commercial loans.
- Skills: Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
