Job Title: Cloud Site Reliability Engineer

Space Ground System Solutions Inc is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based systems and applications to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and services.
  • Develop and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure real-time visibility into system performance and issues.
  • Work with development teams to ensure that applications are designed and developed with reliability, scalability, and performance in mind.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 availability and respond to production issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices to ensure that our systems and applications remain secure, scalable, and performant.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, including virtualization, containerization, and orchestration.
  • Experience with cloud-based monitoring, logging, and alerting tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Certified Solutions Architect.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance regulations, such as HIPAA and PCI-DSS.
