We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing, optimizing, and securing our production, R&D, and internal IT systems infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure AWS environments, focusing on EC2 instances that scale up and down dynamically.
  • Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and reporting tools.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost and performance efficiency.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Ubuntu Linux EC2 instances.
  • Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and performant.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in systems engineering or related roles.
  • 1+ years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong proficiency with Ubuntu Linux administration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong proficiency with Bash scripting.
  • Familiarity with Ruby or other programming language.
  • Experience with multiple data stores such as RDS (MySQL), Cassandra, Redis (ElastiCache), Snowflake, and InfluxDB.
  • Experience with configuration management frameworks such as Salt Stack and Jamf is preferred.
  • Experience working with production software deployments is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
