Role Summary:This role is responsible for managing and coordinating field-based reimbursement and health economics strategies for AVITA Medical's product offerings. The primary objective is to provide expert insights on coverage, reimbursement, coding, and health economics pertaining to AVITA's solutions in the U.S. market, thereby supporting both sales teams and customers effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary liaison for sales teams and clients concerning coverage, reimbursement, coding, and health economics related to AVITA's products.
- Conduct training sessions on reimbursement and health economics for internal and external stakeholders, including the sales team and key partners.
- Develop and deliver educational presentations on health economics and reimbursement topics tailored for diverse audiences.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to improve reimbursement outcomes and cultivate advocates for AVITA Medical.
- Establish connections with key decision-makers within government, healthcare, and payer organizations.
- Analyze payer and provider trends across regions to guide strategic business decisions.
- Create and manage resources such as coding guides to ensure consistent communication regarding reimbursement.
- Maintain compliance with quality standards and operational procedures.
- Undertake additional responsibilities and projects as required.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
- Comprehensive understanding of the U.S. healthcare system and pertinent policies.
- Expertise in outpatient and inpatient coding, physician coding, and Medicare/Medicaid regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of reimbursement practices across various healthcare environments.
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex concepts to varied audiences.
- Proven ability to foster strong relationships with clients and clinical personnel.
- Experience in supporting dynamic sales environments.
- Strategic mindset with proficiency in reimbursement methodologies.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and standard business applications.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in reimbursement and health economics, ideally within the medical device sector.
- A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in business or healthcare-related disciplines.
