Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our team at Menlo Circus Club in Atherton, CA. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the outdoor environment, ensuring it is well-maintained, orderly, and safe for members, staff, and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Outdoor Spaces Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of outdoor living spaces, furniture, light fixtures, and equipment.
  • Landscape and Garden Care: Perform tasks such as planting, trimming, fertilizing, mowing, and other activities to maintain landscape and garden areas.
  • Irrigation System Management: Ensure proper watering times, water coverage, and minimize leaks and overspray.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform minor fixes and maintenance with plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and painting.
  • Furniture Moving: Move furniture as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: One or two years of related maintenance and landscaping experience in a similar role.
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication proficiency in English.
  • Eligibility: Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Driver's License: A valid Driver's License is required.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Frequent kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, walking, twisting, reaching, pushing, and lifting.
  • Working Environment: Primarily outside with exposure to temperature variations, occasional exposure to insects, insect and animal bites, poisonous plants, and hazardous chemicals.
