Job Summary:

The Institute for Family Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse LPN to join our team. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and services under the direction of a Registered Nurse. This is a full-time position located in Kingston, NY, and we offer a competitive salary range of $27.00 - $29.56 hourly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and quality patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and assisting with patient procedures.

• Collaborate with the care team to achieve patient goals and objectives.

• Demonstrate knowledge of medications, including action, dosage, and side effects.

• Obtain and record vital signs, height, and weight, as well as collect specimens and document patient information.

Requirements:

• Certificate of completion from a practical nurse course of study.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in an ambulatory setting, preferred.

• Demonstrated clinical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Ability to perform venipuncture and administer medications, including immunizations.

• Basic computer skills, including typing.

• Bi-lingual Spanish, preferred.

Qualifications:

• Current New York State LPN license and registration.

• Current BCLS, Infection Control Child Abuse Certificates required.
