About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Reckitt. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of production staff and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving industry-leading health and hygiene solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management: Effectively manage production area for a shift (people, equipment, processes) to meet all operational goals and ensure customer service.
  • Coordination and Planning: Coordinate daily production activities and resources to ensure daily objectives are met.
  • Issue Resolution: Work with shift team to identify and resolve issues to enhance employee safety and GMP compliance.
  • Team Development: Develop shift team and build an effective operating culture by utilizing a performance management process that sets expectations, ensures ongoing coaching, and assesses an employee's performance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Clearly understand the regulatory environment and ensure production systems, documentation, and processes are in compliance at all times.
  • Training and Development: Execute training plan for staff on shift teams.
  • Process Improvement: Ensure shift area implements and utilizes solutions and technologies in support of improved safety, quality, and continuous improvement and optimization of manufacturing processes.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership within operation to resolve and/or trouble shoot production issues.
  • Employee Management: Utilize HR systems to manage employee transactions and ensure compliance with all HR policies and effectively manage employee relations issues timely.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate and coordinate work activities with other areas in the manufacturing facility such as Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Warehousing, and other Supervisors.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with some leadership experience a must and/or four-year degree, preferably in a business or technical field.
  • Regulatory Environment: Experience working within an FDA-regulated environment preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills required (i.e., Windows, SAP, WINS). Previous experience with computerized inventory systems a plus.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience leading a production team in a complex, changing environment to deliver results to the organization.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Experience working on a cross-functional team within a broader organization preferred.
