Key Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose vehicle issues
- Collaborate with the shop foreman or service advisor regarding repairs
- Relay additional service recommendations to the service advisor
- Coordinate work tasks in partnership with the shop foreman
- Provide labor estimates to the service advisor
- Track repair time and keep the service advisor updated
- Adhere strictly to dealership protocols regarding vehicle maintenance and operation
- Document repair stories and client communications
- Participate in company and manufacturer training sessions
- Stay informed on factory technical bulletins
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal
Qualifications
Prior experience in automotive service is required.
A high school diploma or GED is necessary; alternatively, 1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
Licenses and Certifications
Valid Operator Driver's License & State Inspection License are required.
Compensation Structure
Compensation will be determined based on experience.
Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.
