Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver safe and effective resident care, demonstrating proficiency in performing assigned treatments and procedures in accordance with established protocols.

- Stay updated on the latest standards and integrate them into nursing practice throughout the care continuum.

- Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of resident care.

- Address age-specific needs in the provision of care, procedures, and treatments.

- Communicate essential resident information and care plans during shift changes and transfers.

- Administer medications accurately, adhering to the five rights of medication administration and maintaining proper documentation.

- Execute treatments using sterile or clean techniques effectively.

- Provide external feedings accurately.

- Complete resident care tasks within designated shift timeframes.

- Collaborate on reassignment of duties in the interest of resident care.

- Report resident care issues and potential solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.

- Delegate resident care concerns and solutions to the relevant nursing management staff.

Safety Equipment:
May require the use of safety equipment, such as HEPA masks, for infection control.

Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens:
OSHA Category I - Routine/anticipated exposure. Involves exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
