Mental Health Emergency Responder

We are seeking Per Diem Mobile Crisis Outreach Responders to join our 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for responding to adults in nonlife-threatening situations who have contacted the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
About the Role:
- Provide evidenced based crisis services to individuals experiencing a mental health or substance use disorder crisis in the community.
- Collaborate with Master's Level Supervisors remotely to provide additional support.
- Support individuals to de-escalate crisis and provide transportation to crisis stabilization centers as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to calls from the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in a timely and effective manner.
- Assess the situation and provide appropriate crisis intervention services.
- Collaborate with other service providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
- A minimum of two years post-bachelor's professional experience in the mental health field.
- Effective crisis response and de-escalation skills.
- A valid NJ driver's license and good driving record.
