Position Summary

This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences for Wind River Environmental's drain service clients. You will be responsible for all aspects of drain cleaning, jetting, and cable work related to both commercial and residential service calls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with customers throughout the service process.
  • Provide camera inspections for mainline blockages.
  • Educate customers on the importance of drain maintenance and repair.
  • Clearly explain the reasons behind blockages and outline your proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with customer service and dispatch to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Maintain and inventory drain cleaning equipment and tools.
  • Actively participate in training exercises, team meetings, and safety discussions.
  • Complete and submit service paperwork and quotes to management.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls.
  • Adhere to all Wind River Environmental service protocols.
  • Be available for overtime work, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required.
  • Comply with all FMCSA and DOT regulations when applicable.
  • Prioritize safety by recognizing potential hazards and implementing appropriate precautions.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the job.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Work Environment

  • Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions, non-hazardous fumes, and noise levels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
  • Frequent interaction with customers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to read and understand documents such as company policies, safety rules, operating instructions, maps, and road signs.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Basic computer literacy, including email and internet usage.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical functions.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • At least two years of professional commercial driving experience (post-graduation).
  • Successful completion of DOT drug screening, medical certification, physical exam, and road tests.
  • Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
