Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operating Room Technician to join our team at South Central Health System. As an Operating Room Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of patients for surgery, including preparing the operating room and equipment.
  • Participate in the implementation of sterile technique and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, instruments, and supplies for autoclaving.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or approved school of Surgical Technology.
  • Knowledge of sterile technique and ability to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
