Job Summary and QualificationsWe are looking for a Charge Medical Surgical Registered Nurse who will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care in a medical-surgical environment.
As a leader, you will:
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of Med/Surg patients.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans.
- Maintain and review patient records, including test results.
- Administer medications according to physician orders.
- Provide leadership to your nursing team during your designated shift.
- Must hold a valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- A minimum of one year of RN experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, excellent service skills, and effective interpersonal communication abilities.
- Proficient in reading and comprehending written instructions and following verbal directions.
- Basic computer skills are required.
