Certified Surgical Technologist

Georgia Surgicare, LLC is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with significant expertise in plastic surgery to enhance our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate under the guidance of a registered nurse.
- Support the healthcare team in delivering safe, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive patient care. Possess the knowledge and skills to manage moderate to high-acuity surgical cases, anticipating the needs of the surgeon and the healthcare team.
- Demonstrate the ability to acquire advanced surgical skills for increasingly complex cases.
- Organize and execute an efficient surgical plan for assigned cases.
- Proactively engage in discussions regarding surgical plans with team members.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with instruments and equipment.
- Anticipate additional supplies or equipment necessary for procedures.
- Mentor and train colleagues in various surgical techniques.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at performance improvement.
- Prepare the surgical environment to ensure patient safety, maintaining a sterile field and addressing other safety concerns. Responsibilities include gathering necessary instruments and supplies and assisting in surgical procedures as required.
- Additional duties may involve managing inventory, ordering, and stocking in perioperative areas.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program and certification.
- Proficient in surgical instrumentation.
- Extensive background in plastic surgeries.
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Strong grasp of surgical technology and procedures.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
