Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians to join our diverse team and be a part of our life-changing mission. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work directly with students one-on-one and in groups, implementing behavior management techniques and supporting students in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document all goals and program participation records
  • Observe and manage behavior of students according to approved procedures
  • Implement behavior management techniques to support students
  • Work directly with students one-on-one and in groups outlined in the IEPs
  • Assist teachers with classwork and daily care of students with special needs
  • Keep equipment in the classroom in clean condition and provide a safe physical environment for all students
  • Provide training and coaching to paraprofessionals on behavior techniques and implementation
Requirements
  • Illinois Paraprofessional Educator license (can be obtained after being hired within 30 days)
  • Registered Behavior Technician License
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job and meet its functional and environmental requirements
