Role Description:
We are looking for a Rotating Equipment Technician to join our aftermarket service team. This role is essential in supporting our repair and enhancement operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess and determine work scope and materials based on client specifications.
2. Identify and report any defects in materials, rework requirements, inspection lapses, or delays to relevant stakeholders.
3. Ensure all inspection documentation and drawings are accurate and complete.
4. Review and verify running clearances of equipment prior to final assembly.
5. Conduct thorough inspections of all machined components to confirm their completeness and precision.
6. Perform final inspections of assembled equipment, documenting findings and coordinating necessary paperwork before shipment.
7. Execute air and hydro-testing of equipment safely.
8. Undertake additional tasks as required to support business operations.

Qualifications:
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with a diverse range of clients.
- Proficient in troubleshooting complex issues related to rotating machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Capable of anticipating and resolving practical challenges.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficient in relevant computer applications.

Experience:
Minimum of 10 years in troubleshooting and repairing rotating machinery.

Competencies:
- Extensive knowledge of rotating equipment, pump mechanics, and hydraulic systems.
- Proven experience in repair techniques for rotating machinery.

Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational or Technical Degree preferred.

Work Environment:
The role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Employees must be able to wear personal protective equipment as necessary. The work environment may be noisy, typical of a machinery repair facility.
