We are seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic to join our team at a prominent company in the Southwest Central Houston area.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for disassembling, inspecting, and reassembling pumps, as well as operating and maintaining various machine tools and metrology equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble and inspect pumps to identify areas for repair or replacement
  • Operate and maintain machine tools, such as lathes, drill presses, and milling machines
  • Utilize metrology equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators, to ensure specification compliance
  • Apply appropriate machining processes to repair pumps and rotating equipment

Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of maintenance experience working with pumps or other rotating equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Manual turning or milling experience preferred, but not required
  • Welding experience preferred, but not required
