This role requires a Senior Technical Program Manager who will drive highly technical AI programs for the Behaviors, Motion, and Perception teams.

You'll partner closely with Autonomy and broader AI Robotics engineering teams critical to Cruise's success. This position demands exceptional leadership skills, aligning multiple groups towards unified goals, driving progress towards meeting company objectives, and promoting quality communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure seamless execution of cross-dependent programs and continuously improve execution over time for our AV Engineering Teams
  • Foster consistent delivery of critical projects, identifying and removing organizational barriers to execution
  • Promote effective communication across departments to complete and report progress, risks, and wins to an executive audience.
  • Lead and improve planning and execution processes at the intersection of multiple departments
What You Need:
  • 5+ years of proven success leading highly technical (machine learning, computer vision or robotics) programs
  • Ability to generate crucial program insights through quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • In-depth knowledge of modern software development and machine learning engineering practices
  • BS or MS in science, engineering, math or equivalent technical experience
  • Outstanding communication skills: verbal and written, with engineers, non-technical partners, and executives
