Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team at Q-Cells. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align with global internal organizations and factories on technology roadmap, product offers, product features, and product introduction timelines.
  • Own the product introduction process in the North American markets, including product listing, third-party qualification, product document preparation, and training materials for both internal and external use.
  • Coordinate between factories and customers on factory audits, facility visits, product inspections, and testing.
  • Develop application eco-system for customers with external BOS partners and vendors to support the product roadmap and demonstrate the advantages of Q-Cells products.
  • Provide product training and promote Q-Cells solutions to customers and the sales team; represent Q-Cells at trade shows and conferences.
  • Manage product lifecycle, including product definition, assist product development, product introduction, and retirement.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in physical science or engineering with 8+ years of experience, or a Master's degree in physical science or engineering with 5+ years of experience, in the PV industry.
  • Must be an expert and in touch with the state-of-the-art regarding solar inverters, batteries, and power electronics.
  • Familiarity with US product safety and building codes, as well as PV and racking certification standards.
  • Experience using applications, system design, and defining, reviewing, and testing software, apps for UI/UX.
  • Good communication skills with customers, management, and internal teams.
  • Excellent command of English.
