Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operations Manager to join our team at WK Kellogg Co. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our plant, ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly environment, and driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement short and long-term cost strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the department's culture, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and employee engagement.
  • Coach and develop leaders on the WK Kellogg Integrated Work Systems, focusing on employee capability development, recognition, compatibility, and employee progression and readiness.
  • Drive key metrics, including production, delivery, quality, cost, safety, and morale, through scorecards and performance-driven culture.
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of Safety, Quality, and Food Safety standards, while identifying and documenting operational best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Eight to Ten years managerial experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with leading and applying lean principles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiating, and decision-making skills, with a proven ability to manage complex situations.
  • Proficiency with computers, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Collaborative work style, able to partner with leaders of other functional areas and business partners to drive overall performance.
  • Technical and operations experience in process, bulk material delivery, or packaging.
  • Experience in leading Kellogg Work System (KIWS) activities helpful.
  • Experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry.
  • SAP experience.
