Job Title: Substitute School Nurse

Vernon Public Schools is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Substitute School Nurse Pool.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and organized individual to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to maintain a current CPR and AED certification, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care and support to students in a school setting
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure student health and well-being
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Connecticut
  • CPR and AED certification
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff
Compensation:

$38.46 per hour
