Job Title: School Nurse Substitute

We are seeking a qualified School Nurse Substitute to join our team at High Point Regional School District.

Job Summary:

The School Nurse Substitute will provide nursing services to students in a school setting, ensuring their health and well-being. This is a substitute position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for providing care to students on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing services to students, including administering medications, treating injuries, and monitoring student health.
  • Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to ensure students receive comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate records of student health information and communicate with parents/guardians as needed.
Requirements:
  • County Substitute School Nurse certificate and Registered School Nurse License.
  • Minimum of substitute School Nurse certification required.
Application Procedure:
  • Complete Online application.
  • Provide a copy of your County Substitute School Nurse Certificate, OR complete the County Substitute Certification Application for a county substitute school nurse certificate online at the link provided below, AND copy of valid Registered School Nurse license.
  • Complete the Criminal History Review process.
