Position Overview

The Ladders is seeking a Financial Division Manager to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a background in the construction, maritime, logistics, or related sectors.

The Financial Division Manager will serve as a key strategic partner to Divisional Leaders and the CFO, responsible for analyzing profitability and key performance metrics. This role will focus on assessing profit margins, cash flow impacts, growth strategies, and return on investment for various business units.

This position requires on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic advice to Divisional leaders and the CFO regarding financial performance and profit enhancement based on comprehensive financial analysis.
  • Create and deliver financial forecasts and sensitivity analyses to evaluate the fiscal implications of strategic decisions.
  • Design and present cost and pricing models for diverse product lines.
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring continuous monitoring of budget versus actual performance.
  • Regularly update Divisional leaders and the CFO on financial forecasts.
  • Analyze both financial and non-financial key performance indicators, report trends, and offer recommendations for performance enhancement.
  • Develop and implement analytical models and databases for management reporting.
  • Establish systems and procedures to capture necessary financial and statistical data.
  • Enhance company branding by maintaining a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-focused image.
  • Assist Divisional leaders and the CFO with various operational matters, including legal and HR support.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Controller to align division objectives with cash flow management, capital investments, growth, and ROI targets.
  • Coordinate with the Corporate Controller on billing, cash collection, expenditure, and financial reporting.
Qualifications

Education:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration with a focus on finance or accounting, or a related field is highly preferred.
