Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Prepare Aircraft: Greet incoming aircraft and prepare departing aircraft for safe and efficient movement.
  • Assist with Aircraft Movement: Assist in the movement, placement, and storage of aircraft as a wing walker.
  • Provide Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers, pilots, and team members to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Operate Fueling Equipment: Operate motorized fueling vehicles and fueling equipment to receive, store, transfer, and dispense petroleum fuel products.
  • Perform Fueling Calculations: Perform accurate fueling calculations to ensure accurate fueling of aircraft.
  • Inspect Fueling Equipment: Inspect fueling equipment and vehicles to identify and report any malfunctions or inconsistencies.
  • Respond to Fuel Emergencies: Respond to fuel emergencies, such as fuel spills, utilizing emergency response carts and following established environmental and company guidelines.
  • Comply with Regulations: Comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority, and carrier security requirements.
Requirements
  • Customer Focus: Possess a natural outgoing and extroverted personality, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with customers, pilots, and team members.
  • Operational Skills: Possess the ability to operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by our insurance company, with a clean driving record.
  • Computer Skills: Possess strong computer skills to effectively utilize our systems and software.
  • Mathematical Skills: Possess a general math aptitude to perform accurate fueling calculations.
  • Language Skills: Possess bilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Physical Demands: Possess the ability to lift 50 pounds, work in all types of weather conditions, and be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.
Working Conditions

This position works outside in all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft. This position may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.

Education and Experience
  • Customer Service Experience: Possess customer service experience in the service industry, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Education: Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to Work Shifts: Possess the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a flexible schedule.
  • Driving Record: Possess an acceptable driving record.
  • Background Check: Possess the ability to pass a background check.
  • Zero Tolerance Policy: Possess a zero tolerance policy for substance abuse, with the ability to pass random screening.
