We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Financing Specialist to join our team at PulteGroup. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to homebuyers in the mortgage financing process.
Key Responsibilities- Meet with Buyer Prospects: Provide financial guidance and preapproval services to potential homebuyers, helping them navigate the mortgage financing process.
- Sell the Value of Pulte Mortgage: Educate and inform potential buyers about the benefits of working with Pulte Mortgage, setting expectations for application and documentation.
- Relationship Building and Training: Develop strong relationships with PulteGroup sales consultants and provide training and support to ensure they are equipped to effectively promote Pulte Mortgage services.
- Develop Partnership with Centralized Operations Team: Collaborate with centralized operations teammates to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the mortgage financing process.
- Provide Accurate Loan Backlog Status Visibility: Ensure accurate and timely loan status updates during weekly builder meetings, assisting in the progress of loans through the pipeline to ensure on-time construction starts and closings.
- Contribute to Branch Performance: Contribute to branch performance metrics, including capture rate, customer service, compliance, and financials.
- Support Customer Service Efforts: Provide exceptional customer service and support to homebuyers, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ownership of Professional Development: Take ownership of your professional development, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure you remain a subject matter expert in mortgage financing.
- Travel Requirements: Travel to Atlanta, GA Division office on a rotational basis, as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of previous related experience in mortgage lending; 1-2 years of successful sales and/or business development background.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; ability to be self-motivated to set and achieve sales goals; ability to have excellent customer service communication and presentation skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment; strong time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strong math aptitude.
- Licenses and Certifications: NMLS license required.
