Position Summary:


The Plant Maintenance Supervisor is accountable for overseeing the maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring that all activities align with quality standards, cost efficiency, and production schedules.


Key Responsibilities:
Adheres to and enforces all safety, health, quality, and company policies and procedures.

Engages in plant staff meetings, safety discussions, and conducts departmental training based on identified needs.

Contributes to operational planning sessions to enhance plant performance.



Develops innovative methods and procedures aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes and minimizing costs.

Maintains close collaboration with the Engineering team to implement improvements in machinery and systems, enhancing production efficiency.

Diagnoses equipment failures and formulates strategies to prevent future incidents.


Manages the maintenance budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and minimizing redundant purchases by addressing root causes.

Responsible for the recruitment, training, and development of maintenance personnel to achieve departmental objectives.

Interacts with vendors and visitors as necessary.

May undertake special projects in collaboration with other departments.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in maintenance management is required.

A minimum of five years in a supervisory or managerial maintenance role within a manufacturing setting, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities, is preferred.

The Plant Maintenance Supervisor must effectively engage with various stakeholders, including managers, employees, vendors, and customers.

Essential skills include:

Regular, predictable attendance is crucial.

Proficient computer skills and typing abilities are necessary.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external parties.


Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive demeanor and providing exceptional service.


Capable of working independently and completing tasks within established guidelines and routines.


Effective Communication:
Clearly conveys information both verbally and in writing.

Team Collaboration:
Actively contributes to team goals and offers assistance to colleagues.

Compensation Information:


The anticipated salary range for this position is aligned with legal requirements in various jurisdictions within the United States.

Final compensation will be determined based on individual qualifications and experience.
