Group Description

Vehtek Systems (a division of Magna International) is located in Bowling Green, Ohio. Vehtek is a Class A automotive stamping and assembly facility manufacturing automotive body system components for GM, Ford, FCA, Honda and other aftermarket customers. We operate a 500,000 square foot facility with approximately 1,000 employees. Role Summary

Provide maintenance support to all other departments to ensure customer schedules and projects are completed timely.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in setting priorities for facility maintenance activities and personnel reporting to you.
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination with all internal customers, plant management, and team members.
  • Determine, achieve, and improve productivity, quality, environmental, and health and safety goals.
  • Assist in updating preventive maintenance and work orders as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned
Key Qualifications/Requirements
  • Associate's degree/Journeyperson status in Maintenance Electrician OR minimum of 4 years' experience in a technical service/repair non-trainee/apprentice role.
  • Forklift License
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, human management skills, and ability to be decisive.
