  6. Assisting with routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
  7. Maintaining accurate records related to your duties.
  8. Participating in daily and project cleaning tasks.
  9. Adhering to mandated reporting requirements for safety and compliance.
  10. Supporting YMCA fundraising initiatives.
  11. Attending scheduled staff meetings and training sessions.
  12. Wearing the designated staff uniform or professional attire.
  13. Acting decisively in emergency situations to ensure safety.
  14. Performing additional duties as assigned to enhance member experience.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  1. A minimum age of 18 years.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with diverse individuals.
  3. The ability to work independently while adhering to maintenance protocols.
  4. Preferred experience in commercial cleaning.
  5. CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 60 days of hire.
  6. A clean background check and Child Protective Services check.
  7. Completion of required training upon hire and annually thereafter.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires:

  1. Physical strength and agility for various tasks.
  2. The ability to work at heights and handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
  3. Routine lifting of up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
  4. Performing maintenance tasks that may involve bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
