About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst/Manager to join our team at ABC Bookkeeping & Business Support. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional financial guidance and support to our clients.

Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst/Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing and analyzing complex financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to clients;
  • Developing and implementing effective financial systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting;
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their financial goals and objectives and developing tailored financial solutions to meet their needs;
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure that clients receive the best possible advice and guidance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum Associate's degree in Accounting or related field, plus 2 years experience, or 5+ years experience at an accounting firm with increased responsibility;
  • In-depth working knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software - Desktop and online;
  • Advanced experience with the monthly accounting cycle - A/P, A/R, payroll, excise returns, balance sheet accounts reconciliation, clean-up of complete business books;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – both written and in-person;
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented to follow through accurately and efficiently with ease and professionalism;
  • Must satisfactorily pass a background and credit check.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including:

Desired Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Current QuickBooks Pro Advisor Certification - desktop and online;
  • Familiarity with various accounting applications such as Jetpack, Gusto, Square, Swizznet, T-sheets;
  • Experience with small business financial reporting analysis, budgeting, and forecasting;
  • Experience with setting up or streamlining accounting systems;
  • Ability to supervise others and oversee an assigned book of business.
