Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Conduct minor carpentry and general maintenance repairs
  • Provide support on energy management issues and compliance with regulatory agencies
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions through Carle Health policies and procedures
  • Work with staff to provide a safe and comfortable environment
  • Maintain familiarity with building systems and demonstrate ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain those systems
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or a similar field
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to use a Windows-based OS
  • Valid Driver's License in the State of Illinois
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
