Job Title: Field Program Manager, Northern California

Galileo Learning is seeking an experienced Field Program Manager to join our team in Northern California. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing a team of Camp Directors, creating professional development opportunities, and ensuring safe and welcoming staff teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of Camp Directors, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure successful camp operations.
  • Develop and implement camp operating plans, working closely with the Area Director and Camp Directors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Partner with the Learning and Development team to create training content and facilitate retreat logistics, coaching materials, and coaching capacity across sites.
  • Create a sense of community among staff and campers, fostering a culture of innovation, purpose, and personal development.
  • Serve as an escalation point for staff issues, providing support and guidance to resolve challenges and balance customer care and program needs.
  • Represent Galileo Learning in Northern California, supporting marketing efforts to increase enrollment and building relationships with school site partners and customers.
  • Monitor and respond to feedback from customers and staff, identifying and mitigating challenges and performance gaps.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in multi-site staff management and program management.
  • Experience with marketing and community communications preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing individuals and a team.
  • Ability to travel in and around the Greater Bay Area, including to sites throughout the South Bay and SF Peninsula.
