Admissions Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to support the overall admissions operations at Howard University. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electronic applicant files, tracking applications, and utilizing online technology to communicate with the Law School Admission Council and the School of Law Registrar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain electronic applicant files and track all applications through the cycle.
- Utilize online and computer-based technology to communicate and exchange data with the Law School Admission Council and the School of Law Registrar.
- Assist in the administration of recruiting, outreach, and yield for all aspects of the JD program.
- Provide front desk support and act as the initial point of contact from inquiry through enrollment for prospective students.
- Responsible for administrative duties related to the office, including daily processing, maintaining inventory of office supplies and admission materials, processing mail, and troubleshooting issues related to office equipment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred and two years' experience in an administrative role or any equivalent combination of three years education and experience in admissions, recruitment, and/or administration.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
