Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations to identify speech needs and areas for improvement for high school students within diverse learning programs.
  • Assist in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements and objectives.
  • Provide both direct and indirect speech and language services to students in need.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to address students' speech and language requirements.
  • Monitor student progress through observations and data collection, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents, providing updates on progress and strategies for support at home.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Eligibility for IDFPR licensure in the state of Illinois.
