About the Role

Cox Communications is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and building strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Explain and demonstrate product capabilities to customers, providing personalized solutions to meet their needs.
  • Meet or exceed targets for customer experience, sales, and retention, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with the opening and closing of retail store environments, maintaining a clean and organized store appearance.
  • Properly handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Engage in workshops, special events, and product demos to promote Cox products and services.
  • Support fellow sales agents and team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of Cox products and services, as well as competitor offerings, through regular training and development opportunities.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college experience preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in sales, retail, or customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and adapt to diverse customer needs.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Computer literacy and aptitude for learning communication products and services.
