Key Responsibilities
  • Explain and demonstrate product capabilities to customers, providing personalized solutions to meet their needs.
  • Meet or exceed sales, retention, and customer experience targets, working closely with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Participate in workshops, special events, and product demos to stay up-to-date on Cox products and services.
  • Support colleagues in achieving sales and customer experience targets.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of Cox products and services, as well as competitor offerings, through regular training and development opportunities.
What We Offer

Cox Communications is committed to providing a competitive compensation package, including a variable targeted total compensation of $48,628 ($23.38/hr.) with the potential to reach an average annual compensation of $63,224 ($30.40/hr.) for high performers. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively sell products and influence customer decisions.
  • Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Computer literacy with an aptitude for learning communication products, services, and accessories.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds to manage stock room inventory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Some college experience with a focus in sales, business, and/or management.
  • One year of experience in a related field, such as sales, retail sales, or service industry.
  • Experience selling wireless/mobile products.
  • Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
