Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Preconstruction Director to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing all preconstruction activities, including cost estimation, project planning, and design review. Your expertise will ensure the successful launch of construction projects, and you will work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee all preconstruction activities, including cost estimation, project planning, and design review.
* Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful launch of construction projects.
* Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets for each project, working closely with the project team.
* Review design documents to identify potential issues and propose solutions, providing technical expertise and guidance to the project team.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing information and negotiate contracts, continuously improving preconstruction processes and procedures to increase efficiency and quality.

Requirements

* Proven experience in cost estimation and project planning.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve project goals.
* Proficient in using construction management software, with a strong understanding of project planning and cost estimation principles.
