Role Overview:

We are in search of a proactive and meticulous Supply Chain Systems Business Analyst to spearhead innovation and ongoing enhancement across our supply chain technology platforms. This role is essential in guaranteeing smooth integration between operational processes and IT solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making through sophisticated analytics, automation, and reporting. Acting as a crucial intermediary between the IT department and various business units, you will convert business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring that system improvements align with the strategic objectives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Engage with business stakeholders and IT peers to identify and prioritize opportunities for system enhancements, emphasizing automation, reporting, data visualization, and process optimization.
  • Business Process Analysis: Evaluate existing business models, documenting processes and pinpointing areas for enhancement. Create thorough documentation, including visual models, business process flows, functional specifications, and data models.
  • Requirement Validation: Collaborate closely with business teams to assess the feasibility of new system functionalities and validate reporting requirements to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Project Management: Utilize industry-standard project management methodologies to create work estimates, develop timelines, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Design and execute test cases covering various business processes and system functionalities. Analyze and resolve defects to guarantee the highest quality outcomes.
  • Deployment and Change Management: Oversee deployment activities in collaboration with business partners, including training, change management, and communication strategies. Provide post-deployment support and issue resolution.
  • Workload Management: Independently manage your workload, balancing multiple projects and ensuring all deliverables meet or exceed expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Research & Development, Manufacturing, or Distribution system environments, focusing on integrating business processes with technology solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in SQL and extensive experience in analyzing large datasets across multiple systems.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply business knowledge to technical solutions.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies in a constantly evolving software environment.
  • Independence and Organization: Self-sufficient, organized, and capable of managing multiple initiatives with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Data Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Data Analytics Tools: Familiarity with AWS Glue, AWS DataBrew, OCI Data Integration, Data Flow, Data Catalog, and OCI Data Science.
  • Programming: Working knowledge of Python programming.
  • Process Automation: Experience with process automation software such as UI Path RPA, Document Understanding, and AI.
  • Complex Systems Experience: Experience working within complex system environments including ERP, PLM, LIMS, WMS, TMS, MES, and system integration.
  • Business Methodologies: A strong understanding of Research & Development, Process Manufacturing, and Distribution business methodologies.
