Job Title: Dental Assisting Instructor

MDT Institute is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Dental Assisting Instructor to join our team of dedicated educators. As a Dental Assisting Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of dental assistants by delivering high-quality education and training.

Job Summary:

The Dental Assisting Instructor will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the classroom, online, and lab settings. You will develop and implement curriculum, assess student learning, and participate in program revisions to ensure our students receive the best possible education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver education to ensure students meet the competencies required for successful completion of the program.
  • Implement a variety of teaching strategies to support learner needs and desired learning outcomes.
  • Employ effective teaching strategies based on evidence-based practices to support student achievement.
  • Use technologies skillfully to support the teaching-learning process.
  • Provide opportunities for learners to develop critical thinking skills and ethical reasoning.
  • Foster the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective development of students.
  • Assess and evaluate learning in three Bloom taxonomies domains: cognitive, psychomotor, and affective.
  • Implement formative and summative assessment and evaluation strategies.
  • Enhance the teaching-learning process based on data.
  • Provide timely, constructive, and thoughtful feedback to learners.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in Dental Assisting.
  • Three (3) years of practical experience in dental assisting or a Dentist.
  • Current knowledge in dental assisting can be proven by professional development or experience within the last 2 years.
