Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Residence Inn Morgan Hill. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to high standards, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including setting up housekeeping carts with necessary supplies and linens.
  • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways, maintaining a tidy and organized environment.
  • Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for our guests.
  • Restock housekeeping cleaning carts for next day's use and replenish chemical bottles as needed.
  • Report any maintenance repairs or missing items to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
  • Handle items for Lost and Found according to established procedures.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction by providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift and effectively communicate with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
Compensation

Hourly wage: $19-20/hour
