Program Overview

As a Master's Level Intern with Community Health Resources, you will gain hands-on experience and training in clinical mental health and substance abuse evaluation and treatment. You will have the opportunity to work with our experienced and dedicated staff to develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as:

  • Clinical mental health and substance abuse evaluation and treatment
  • Assessment and treatment planning
  • Medication management and monitoring
  • Independent living skills and outreach treatment services

Qualifications

To be eligible for this internship, you must be enrolled in a Master's degree program in a mental health field. While experience in mental health treatment is preferred, it is not required. A valid driver's license is also necessary.
