Job Title: LC-MS Support Scientist

Job Description

In the role of LC-MS Support Scientist at Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, you will play a vital role in delivering technical assistance for LC-MS systems within designated territories. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting demonstrations, performing sample analyses, providing customer training, and supporting sales initiatives. This position necessitates a deep understanding of LC-MS technology, adept problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to operate autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute demonstrations and support sales efforts on a regular basis.
  • Conduct sample analyses and tailor customer methodologies utilizing our instruments.
  • Ensure client satisfaction with the assigned products in your territory.
  • Oversee regional demonstration inventory and facilitate customer training sessions.
  • Travel as necessary, including overnight stays and air travel.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager and assist Associate MS Support Specialists.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, along with at least one year of experience in LC-MS laboratory instrumentation. Expertise in LC-MS, strong presentation capabilities, and effective communication skills are essential. An MS or PhD in Chemistry is highly regarded.
