Job Summary:

We are seeking an Electromagnetic Spectrum Subject Matter Expert to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As an Electromagnetic Spectrum Subject Matter Expert, you will be working with the military services in assessing and managing their use of the electromagnetic spectrum for national defense.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise to support strategic analysis and planning efforts for Joint spectrum operations.
  • Conduct research and analysis of various national security policies, military strategies, vulnerability assessments, threat and intelligence assessments, integration of partner nation capabilities, as well as close coordination with other Service Components, research labs, industry, and Joint Staff.
  • Identify operational areas of concern, areas requiring additional focus, and innovative new concepts of spectrum deployment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Electromagnetic Compatibility and capabilities across spectrum environments.
  • Ability to write briefings and white paper reports as a subject matter expert to present to senior leadership.
  • HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience in the military with EW or as a signals or communications officer, Associate's degree and 8+ years of experience in the military with EW or as a signals or communications officer, or Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in the military with EW or as a signals or communications officer.
  • TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an electronic warfare specialty service in the military, such as U.S. Army Cyber Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA).
  • Experience coordinating with other DoD entities, including the Joint Staff, Service Components, and non-DoD organizations, such as DHS and the Department of State.
  • Graduate of the Inter-service Radio Frequency Management School (IRFMS).
  • Graduate of the Army Spectrum Management Course.

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193, annualized USD. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
