We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and Launch New Sellers: Identify and recruit new sellers to join our Walmart Marketplace, ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Collaborate with our category seller growth teams to analyze market trends and develop strategies to attract new accounts and expand our product assortment.
  • Business Development Lifecycle: Manage the entire business development process, from sourcing to transactability, to drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain internal and external relationships, understanding and managing mutual value propositions, risks, and benefits.
  • Business Growth: Identify customer and operational needs, develop and communicate business plans and priorities, and remove barriers and obstacles that impact performance.
  • Sales Strategy: Influence and drive the overall sales strategy to ensure highest valuation, directing sales and managing key accounts, negotiating and purchasing sub-primal needs, and overseeing the exception approval process.
  • Team Supervision: Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, selecting and training, mentoring, assigning duties, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field, and 3 years' experience in business development, market development, product development, or relevant area, or 5 years' experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area.
  • Master's Degree and Supervisory Experience: Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field, and 3 years' supervisory experience, or 2 years' experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in sales, and 2 years' experience in the automotive space.
