This is a temporary staff position that provides daily routine and detail cleaning of assigned campus building interior and exterior areas, including offices, lounges, restrooms, student housing, classrooms, laboratories, entrances, exits, and stairways. General duties include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily routine and detail cleaning of assigned campus building interior and exterior areas
  • Perform medium to heavy physical work, including lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Follow instructions and work orders, and understand product labels and instructions
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity and quality of work
  • Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure a clean and safe environment for students, faculty, and staff
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work
  • Some knowledge of cleaning procedures and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work, including lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Special certification may be required for some positions
