  • Ensure all guest interactions are positive and welcoming.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and assignments.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the reservations system, handling same-day and future bookings as needed.
  • Complete daily operational checklists.
  • Familiarize yourself with room types, locations, and pricing.
  • Register guests upon arrival and assign appropriate accommodations.
  • Coordinate room status updates with housekeeping to ensure smooth operations.
  • Facilitate maintenance requests for guest rooms as necessary.
  • Utilize effective sales techniques to promote room upgrades.
  • Stay informed about daily activities and events occurring at the resort.
  • Report any unusual incidents or guest requests to management.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Process guest check-outs and manage financial transactions accurately.
  • Ensure guest privacy is maintained at all times.
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism in appearance and conduct.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with hospitality management software is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with guests, staff, and management.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and events.
  • Understanding of credit and cash handling policies.
  • Ability to learn and apply safety and emergency procedures.
  • Proficient in using front office technology.
  • Familiarity with proper telephone etiquette.
